In Panama this species was collected from southwest of Coiba Island (USNM 19448; Centroid Latitude: 6.2833, Centroid Longitude: -82.0833, depth 3058 m) and South of Charco Azul Bay, Puerto Armuelles, (USNM 19449; Centroid Latitude: 6.1667, Centroid Longitude: -83.1000, depth 2690 m), by the R. V. Albatross.
